Environmental Health Action Team
The purpose of this team is to collect health and environmental data on frontline communities and disseminate the information to the general public and key stakeholders.
Existing literature suggests coal fired power plants are associated with respiratory illnesses, fish kills, and greenhouse gases. Some ideas for dissemination are video trailers, one-on-one interviews, newspaper editorials, phone banking, and mass texting. We need your help so we can make a huge impact on Georgia’s 2019 Energy Plan.
Schedule: We will continue to meet every 4th Monday of the month. Some meetings may be rescheduled due to holidays and events. We hope to see you then.
Feel free to contact Tori at: tori.mister@sierraclub.org if you have any questions.
