Fundraising & Grantwriting Workshop

August 28, 2019 @ 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm America/New York Timezone
Latino Community Fund -LCF Georgia

Fundraising is a peer-to-peer sport. It is about being prepared and it is about cultivating relationships.

Nonprofit professionals participate in fundraising every day, and while the majority of our organizations secure most of their revenue via special events and individual connections, GRANTWRITING remains one space where we could all grow.

Join us and learn from general fundraising strategies and specifically from grant writing opportunities, structures, types and walk away with an idea of a template you can use and tweak to start securing programmatic dollars for your organization.

We are grateful to our educator Natalie Hernandez Ph.D., M.P.H Faculty at Morehouse School of Medicine and former Satcher Health Policy Leadership Fellow. Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Hernandez held leadership positions in a number of coalitions dedicated to advancing health equity, community health promotion, education, technical assistance and advocacy

THIS IS A FREE EVENT FOR LCF GEORGIA MEMBERS. A $25 nominal fee is requested from students and partner organizations. Limited spaces are available. Lunch is included.
