FAQs
What if I am not available for the entire two day, Saturday and Sunday workshop?
This experiential workshop is based on building a community which builds trust among participants and requires that everyone be present for all activities. We certainly understand that this is a significant time committment and ask that you only attend if you are able to fully participate for the two days. You will be surprised how engaging and thought provoking this experience will be! If you cannot attend the entire workshop, stay tuned for more workshop dates in 2019 coming soon.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are MARTA train and bus options available with convenient access to the workshop location. Parking for this event is available for $6 a day at the Grady Hospital Parking Garage. We will send details concerning exact workshop location to registered participants.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Feel free to email georgiaavp@gmail.com or call Karen at (404) 797-8079 with any questions about AVP or this workshop. We welcome the opportunity to discuss our work in the community and in local prisons.
What’s the refund policy?
We will take registrations and cancellations until Wednesday, September 4th at 9:00 pm. We must have confirmed registrations by then to purchase and prepare materials and food for the workshop. This program is offered entirely by volunteers.
We have established a minimum and maximum number of participants per workshop and will refund all registration payments if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
