Join us for the one-hour documentary, “Jane: An Abortion Service,” about a little-known chapter in women’s history that tells the story of the underground Chicago-based women’s group that performed nearly 12,000 safe illegal abortions between 1969 and 1973.

Nominated for the 1996 Grand Jury Prize for Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival, the film gives us insight into life before Roe — the unfathomable choices women had to make, and the bravery of so many to support one another.

Jane’s founder, Heather Booth — civil rights activist, feminist, and political strategist — will travel from Washington D.C. to lead us in a lively conversation about those times and our current moment in the fight for reproductive freedom.

Proceeds directly support the current lawsuit to stop HB 481, Georgia’s abortion ban.
