The next episode of “All Rappity Raps Live” is Saturday, October 26th at Generator (located in the lower level of the Telephone Factory Lofts).
This event is a special fundraiser event for the estate and legacy of Oscar Cain. Oscar Cain, a young activist and father of two, was suspiciously shot and killed by Sgt. Marquee Kelley of the Atlanta Police Department. Oscar Cain was active in community organizing for years with organizations such as the League of Young Voters and American Friends’ Service Committee. He was one of the champions in campaigning for police to wear body cameras in the city of Atlanta. Ironically, Sgt. Kelly’s body camera was turned off when he shot and killed Oscar Cain. The shooting is still currently being investigated by the GBI.
Fifty percent of the ticket sales will go towards funding a mural in dedication of Oscar Cain as well as other awareness initiatives and his children. You can purchase a ticket as well as purchase an additional donation ticket if you want to contribute more money or if you are not able to physically attend the show.
