In this peer support process group, we’ll discuss what masculinity means to us, how we relate to it, as well as how it impacts our lives and the lives of people we care about. A “process” group is
usually concerned with the emotions and interpersonal dynamics of those involved, which can open the door to gaining insight about our patterns of interaction, beliefs about ourselves/others, and ultimately, personal transformation. This is done in a “safe container” which encourages emotional sharing, interpersonal connection (as well as an exploration of conflict/rupture), and genuineness.

Potential topics of discussion:
 Positive visions of masculinity
 Masculinity as it intersects with political engagement
 Impossible gender ideals
 Sexuality
 Shame
 Relationships/friendships
 Loneliness
