National Center for Civil and Human Rights

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED TO THURSDAY AUG. 27 DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER EXPECTED TODAY. Georgia has experienced one of the highest COVID-19 death rates in the country: 4,700 deaths and counting.
Our hearts are broken.

Join us to commemorate the victims and send a message to lawmakers – ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

The event begins at 7:30 pm at the unveiling of the Loved Ones Not Numbers Memorial Wall at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, 100 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd NW, Atlanta, 30315 followed by a Candlelight March to the Georgia Capitol.

The Memorial Wall displays 5,000 broken hearts symbolizing each of Georgia’s victims of COVID-19. Please bring a permanent marker if you wish to claim a heart and write a message to a lost loved one. You can also share their picture and name on our online Memorial Wall by clicking here:
