Our first mixer of 2020 will focus on the the different types of censorship that impede the creation, access and visibility of public resistance art. Art which addresses social issues and both inspire and inform social change, more often than not, motivates censorship stemming from political and economic interests.

Activists/Artists and members of the community are invited to this conversation– facilitated by ATL Radical Art Director, Rozina Shiraz Gilani– and collectively imagine ways that we might confront local art censorship, seek inspiration by artists around the world and uplift voices for change.
