Are you outraged by injustice but don’t know what to do?
New to activism and/or want to get more involved/connected?
Want to support new and current activists/community organizers in solidarity and love?
Activists Recruiting Organizing and Mentoring in Atlanta (AROMA) hosts activist meet and greets every last Thursday of the month, at 7:30pm-9:00pm at the Little 5 Points Community Center.
These are meant as informal and semi-structured gathering to support the local activist community in ATL.
Our relationships are the most important thing – so let’s build up our social solidarity together, and get as many people in involved as we can!
We have an Activist Speed-Friending activity, learn more about what it really means to be an activist, and meet some of the folks on the front lines doing the work needed to transform society and transition into a better world!
If are able, please bring some food, drinks, or donations to share, and please spread the word!
People are finding out about this mostly through word of mouth so please invite anyone you think might be interested in becoming an activist/ community organizer, deepening their activism, or supporting all people to become strong, effective leaders in our movements!
