In solidarity with our black community members and in understanding of their struggles in black America today, the Georgia Advancing Progress PAC urges Asian Americans to join this protest to bring justice and equality to all our brothers and sisters! Racism against one of us is racism against ALL OF US as communities of color. Bring your signs, water, face mask. NO CHILDREN ALLOWED (bring at your own risk). THIS IS A PEACEFUL PROTEST.

– Asian Americans to meet at GOLDEN CORRAL next to Tandy Key Ln (3270 Satellite Blvd. Duluth, GA 30096).
– WEAR YELLOW or Black if you don’t have yellow.
– If you want to donate WATER, SNACKS, or PPEs, please drop off with Cam Ashling at her white pickup truck, and arrive early if possible (11/11:30)
– We will make signs before the protest from 11-12pm. Please bring your own signs that you want to carry.
– We will have elected officials/candidates speak to our group and say a few words about this historic movement:

From the organizers: Protest March & Rally for Justice for Black Lives:

This protest event requires everyone to wear PPE (face masks) and abide by the social distancing guidelines (6 ft apart). We are marching for justice for George, Ahmaud, Breonna, Sean, Shali, Jamarion, Oscar, Jimmy, Shukri Ali and so many others still waiting for justice.

Our demands are the following:
1) Pass the Hate Crimes Bill
2) Repeal the Citizen’s Arrest Law
3) Quick justice (convictions)
4) Remove Qualified Immunity
5) Criminal punishment reform
6) Stop Police brutality & militarized policing
