Science for the People is a national organization committed to building up the movement around a practice of science that is inclusive, participatory, and accessible.
Join the Atlanta Chapter for our next reading group meeting to discuss Atlanta’s 100% Clean Energy Act and energy democracy. We will provide a short summary of the 100% Clean Energy Act at the top of the meeting and then break out into smaller working groups to further dissect components of the plan and strategize ways to hold the city accountable for making sure the goals are achieved equitably.
This meeting is free and open to the public.
PARKING – There is a parking lot next to the rush center that has free parking
PUBLIC TRANSPORT – The Rush Center is located less than a block away from the Edgewood/Candler Park Marta Station
LOCATION – The building is ADA accessible and has a ramp accessible entrance to the building and gender non-specific restrooms. The building is located behind Radial Cafe.
