Center for Civic Innovation

Have you ever felt left out of a project that happened in your community? Feel like you had value or expertise to add but were never asked? Or maybe you went to a community listening session where there wasn’t much listening. You aren’t alone. Good community engagement is an essential component of major projects, but it can be hard to not only get people in the room but to get them to participate in the process in a meaningful way. Join us as we hear real-life stories about the trial and error of community engagement and learn about what can go wrong and why.
