Free The Land Think Tank

June 2, 2018 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm America/New York Timezone
640 West Community Cafe

The goal of the Free The Land Initiative is to create an autonomous, intentional, and intersectional city for Black People from the ground up, but how can we do that exactly? We have a general guideline on our website, , but now it is time to get into the nitty gritty.

We are looking for people who can strategize, we have a deep love for Black People, and who are interested in supporting us as we work to find actionable and material solutions to the problems facing our community.

We are looking to answer questions like:

1) What would a free healthcare system for Black people that combines ancestral knowledge with modern science look like? How would we provide for the various healthcare needs of up to 2000 people?

2) What is an ideal education system for Black people that focuses on technology and community at the same time? What would an education system that affirms all genders, body types, ability levels while also ensuring that teachers and parents are supported?

3) How should cities be organized? From the sewage systems, to the water systems, to the electric grid, how can we ensure that our community is organized in a way that is safe, economical, and environmentally friendly?

And more!

If this is something that interests you please come through!

Update: We have decided to have this event Meet Up style. This allows for more intimate conversations and for us to support a local Black Owned Business.

Please donate at and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

As always, the event will be ADA accessible, kid friendly, and there will be snacks and drinks.
