Come enjoy an afternoon of literature, music & spoken word at the Unveiling of the Ebon Dooley Literary Collection. Sunday, June 3rd., 2-5pm @ the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture & History. This event is free an open to the public! Sponsored by WRFG-89.3, the ArtsXchange Atlanta, the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture & History and Teressa Hale-Mathurin, daughter of Ebon Dooley.

The Ebon Dooley Literary Collection is an invaluable resource for all people.It is a scholar’s delight, a student’s mentor and equally appealing to the lay person. The collection is 63.5 linear feet and dates from the 1960’s to the early 2000’s and includes extensive materials on liberation movements around the globe. The Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History, Archives Division received the Ebon Dooley Collection as a gift in 2010 from Teressa Hale Mathurin, daughter of Ebon Dooley.
